Pamela the plum is growing nicely. She’s getting larger and lots of her friends are hanging out with her. There’s just one problem, and I don’t want to embarrass her, but, her skin’s a little, oh how would you put it? Patchy, brown, scaly. She doesn’t look good. I’ve not said anything to her, I’m hoping she’ll grow out of it.
I am so pleased with the corn. It is getting so much larger and the slugs hardly did any damage when they were little, so they all look very handsome now!
This little veggie is giving us the most excitement in the garden right now. My kids thought it was the best thing ever. A baby cucumber – how cute is that! There are about six on the vine so far, and it’s still growing up. I have no idea how many cucumbers one plant usually produces…we’ll see.
